Saturday 7th May AGM Plough and Sail Paglesham Saturday 7th May AGM at the Plough and Sail Paglesham. I need to know if you intend to come along as I will need to
book a table and you would be welcome to join us for a meal.

Sat 25th June – Sun 3rd July East coast cruise Sat 25th June – Sun 3rd July, East coast cruise with the Roach Sailing Association. This cruise is very weather dependent, but we aim to cruise as much of the East coast sailing area from the Thames to the Ore and Alde.

Saturday 16th July Rally at Paglesham Saturday 16th July, Rally at Paglesham and Barbecue on the
saltings. This will be on the area of land now owned by the
Paglesham Village Trust and the Dauntless Association
contributed towards it’s purchase. I should be able to find
mooring space, but will need to know if you plan to come
along and bring your own BBQ materials. There will be a
‘traditional’ dinghy race, organised by the Roach Sailing
Association in the afternoon. This is the ‘Mudcatchers Cup’
where competitors have to sail a course, doing ‘silly things’ ,
being propelled by sail, oar or welly boot.

Sat 6th August. Benfleet rally We plan a Benfleet rally (the home of the Dauntless yard) on Sat 6th August. This will be a cruise in company on the
Saturday up Benfleet Creek and moor off the Dauntless yard where we will either eat at the local Benfleet Yacht Club, or BBQ on the saltings, really depending on attendees. Again, I need to know if you plan to attend as I need to arrange berths and if necessary book our meal.

17th September 2011 OGA (Old Gaffers Association) Maldon Rally
This year I plan to attend the OGA (Old Gaffers Association)
Maldon Rally. Whether or not you are a member of the OGA, why not come along? It would be great to meet as many as possible there and of course let me know if you want to join us.
